If the deal sounds good, then book it whilst the going is good

There seems to be a misconception with some people who think that the longer they leave it to book their cruise, the lower the price will drop.  There are obviously plenty of occasions where the price of a cruise can go down at some point but I must stress that the price can also go up.

I have noticed on quite a few occasions that the prices of cruises have gone up before or after my clients have booked cruises.

Although I have seen this a lot with various cruise line one of the main ones I have noticed this with lately is P&O Cruises.  There was one occasion where the price shot up from £799 per person to £1089 per person 5 minutes after I made their booking and another time where my client wanted to check a price for them that they had looked at previously and it had gone up from £989 per person to £1359 a person.

I understand that there are plenty of decent reasons why someone may not be able to make a booking at a particular time (my client that I just mentioned for example) but I thought that it was worth stressing that if there is what seems a great deal on offer and you are in a position to book then there is always a risk that the price could shoot up at any moment.
