MSC Renaissance Programme.

As I am sure you are aware I recently experienced MSC and was totally surprised at just what they had to offer. So when the new MSC Armonia was brought back into service on 19th of November I was very excited and interested to see just what the Renaissance Programme was all about.

The 200 million euro programme is the first step in a 5 billion euro enlargement plan, which includes four new ships in two innovative classes to join the fleet between 2017 and 2019 with options for a further three by 2022. Back in 2004 MSC carried 80.000 guests per year, the company has grown by 800 per cent and the numbered carried today is around 40,000 per DAY.

S0 with the Armonia being the first ship to be unveiled she attracted the media in droves in Genoa last week. Gianni Onorato MSC Chief Executive showed off the new range of sensational options and features.                                                    The new look Armonia has more balcony cabins, more spacious recreational areas, flexible dining options and a dedicated kids club for all age groups. She also has a new outdoor spray-park which is a fun filled water zone with interactive jets, slides and ingenious water features. She went into dry dock on August 31st was cut in half and and brand new 100ft section put in the middle.

I have many passengers booked on her Winter Canary Islands and Morocco sailings over the next five months and I am quite sure they will not be disappointed.

With all this money and effort I do think MSC are worth a try. Forget about the negative feedback and just take them as you find them. Excellent value for money.
