With the so many Cruise Lines competing for business it is not of any surprise that MSC have joined with all guns blazing to capture their market share. We have had an MSC ship nip in and out of Southampton for short cruises for a short period of time in the last two years but now they are pleased to announce that they will be home porting the Magnifica for a whole season. She will arrive April 2018 and leave 22nd October 2018 returning to Genoa.

This excellent value for money line are now offering us, who do not wish to fly, something other than 7 nights Northern Europe itineraries. You will see a selection of 21 cruises with 7, 10, 11 and 14 night voyages. From the Atlantic Coast ports such as Leixoes in Portugal, Cadiz and Malaga Spain, Le Verdon Sur Mer a quaint coastal town in South west France to The Fjords and around Britian. So something for all tastes and with adult prices starting from £279 and child from £119 all budgets too.

The other big news was they are also using this 2500 passenger ship to do their first ever World Cruise. This will be in 2019 starting from either Genoa, Civitavecchia, Barcelona or Marsaille. She will the sail directly across to the Caribbean onto the Panama Canal for South America heading to Sydney and New Zealand. The 119 nights will be sold as one sector with the possibility of 2 others later in 2018. UK guests can also extend their return to Southampton should they wish. This will now make the once dreamed about World Cruise a affordable possibility.
