A Celebrity refresh for me.

As I am sure by now you know that we are very lucky and not only sell amazing cruises but we also get to experience them. Now some maybe for a week and some may only be a day but I love and make the most of every opportunity I get. So when asked recently if I wanted to visit the Celebrity Silhouette whilst she was in port in Liverpool I jumped at the chance. Firstly because I wanted to see my colleagues (hope my managers do not read this) because I have taken a personal holiday on the Celebrity Equinox a few years ago so knew this class of ship very well.silou
But it was amazing and reminded me just what the brand stands for QUALITY. This ship did have one or two touches Equinox did not have. On the top deck the Lawn club with its real grass had cosy little private booth areas called the Hideaway that can be hired by the day or the duration of your cruise. There was also the Porch a cute bistro style eatery and the Lawn Club Grill two wonderful alternative eating venues cabanapantry
Once inside the ship the luxury was abundant at every turn. From the Persian Garden, Ice Martin Bar where we were given a dramatic demonstration by the handsome bar tender to Blu a dining room for suite guests only.ice barblu
We certainly walked up and down the ship enjoying the tour and we were very pleased to learn we were having lunch in the Tuscan Grill an Italian Speciality venue right at the back of the ship with amazing sea views. I was more so than the others as I did not sample that whilst on Equinox and walked past many times hoping hubby would say go on then but no. We eat mushroom ravioli in a cream sauce for starters and fillet mignon for mains. Heaventuscan
The entrance looks like you are walking into a wine barrel.
We then attended a presentation by celebrity which covered the campaigns and offers for the rest of the summer and next year and I must say the value for money is amazing. A top quality product with top quality staff and service.
