China first hand

Moving along from my previous post about Japan, another place that I have not yet had the pleasure of visiting is mainland China, I have been to Hong Kong a few times but that does not count. I can just imagine what it would be like heading down one of the famous rivers taking in the sight and sounds of this fascinating country.

River cruising is becoming very popular and there has been a surge in sales for this unique cruise experience. Very different from an ocean cruise but the cruise experience is very different. Just imagine being able to pull alongside a small river side village, this would be impossible to do on a large cruise ship.
