Surprise a loved one on board

With all cruise lines cutting back on the little aspects which make a cruise how do you make someone feel special whilst on board?

If you have a birthday on anniversary how about buying your loved one a present, duty free of corse, on board.  A nice watch or some jewelry perhaps.

Ok so you have selected your item but now how do you sort out the wow factor?  Have a word with the Maitre De and they will be able to do the reveal at dessert so instead of the chocolate mouse it is a diamond ring or Omega watch!  You could also speak to the Duty free Shop Manager.  They will be able to help you out with the surprise side of things. When I worked on board I made the reveal happen many times whether in the restaurant or in the cocktail lounge.

You can always eat the mouse later!!!
