British Airways are at it again!!

Unite, the trade union for British Airways cabin crew, voted once again this week in favour of strike action. This could mean that flights to join cruises over the busy Easter period and beyond, when Brits will enjoy an unprecedented four bank holidays (thanks to the extra one for the royal wedding), could be affected, causing travel misery to thousands of holidaymakers.

Now I have said this before but if you are wanting a fly cruise over the period, book the flights with the cruise line.  As well as getting the transfers included in the price, you are covered by the cruise line.  It is down to them to get you to the ship.

If you book ‘cruise only’ and your flights get cancelled, and you cannot get different flights,  the ship will sail without you!

The 28-day period from the last ballot ends on Easter Monday, April 25, so if your fly-cruise departs after that date, there is currently no threat of industrial action, although this may change.

To avoid all this there are still places available on Independence of the Seas sailing on 30th April for 4 nights visiting Cork.  Inside cabins starting from £345 per person.

So for a hassel free Bank Holiday break sail from Southampton.
