Live In Southampton? How Much Is Your Driveway Worth Per Day ?
I thought I’d let you all in to a little secret. As most of you know parking at Southampton has become very expensive these days, you can pay £499 for a 13 night cruise then pay at least £120 approx for your parking. Now after a discussion I was having with a very good customer of mine the other day she has come up with a brilliant solution to finding cheap parking at Southampton.
There is a website called ParkatmyHouse. Would you believe homeowners actually rent out their own driveways, which some of them can accommodate up to 7 cars at one time, they have CCTV, security lights, all being only 5-10 minutes’ drive away from Southampton. Most of them can offer a drop off and pick up service to the port for a small fee which can be a lot cheaper than getting a local taxi ( must be booked in advance). Even refreshments on arrival. Prices vary from about £4 to about £6 a day. The website seems to have very good reviews from previous customers, they have had 874 comments with a customer satisfaction rating of 4.8 starts out of 5 which is not bad at all. My customer has used them a few times and she has never had any problems so if you are after a bargain for parking well this looks like a very good solution.
