1909150_265353970296352_533067544_oWhen you only have 24 or 48 hours in New York it’s difficult to know what to do 1st, you want to see and do as much as possible but there are some great alternative sights and you might even beat the queues and squeeze more in!

OK so you have shopped till you’ve dropped so what’s next?

The most iconic building in New York must be the Empire State Building but the Rockerfeller Centre ‘Top of the Rock’ offers spectacular 360° views of New York City from the 70th floor, the stylish open air observation platform dates back to the 1930s and and offers unmatched views of New York City. Nowhere else in Manhattan can you experience the same unobstructed 360° views of the city, plus you can also enjoy great views of the Empire State Building itself. iStock_000059700002_XXXLarge (002)

iStock_000027340835_Large (002)No trip to New York would be complete without a slice of pizza, take a half day tour of Brooklyn that explores the food, history, landmarks, famous movie locations and points of interest in Brooklyn. Stop off at Grimaldi’s for a couple of slices of authentic Sicilian style pizza.

I did this! – Take a cruise around the Harbour and Statue of Liberty in a classic 1920’s Schooner, enjoy the view of the Manhattan from a most gloriously relaxing and stylish angle; aboard an 82-foot vintage 1920’s Gatsby Era Style Yacht.
