Bonjour, Ciao, Hola & Ola

Well i’ll be having a go at all of these languages when we go sailing from Southampton next week on Independence of the sea, visiting one of my favourite places the South of France, lost count of how many times me and my hubby have been there, got to walk around the F1 circuit yet again haven’t you !!  and got to walk up to the Grimaldi Pink Palace of  Monaco & the best Casino…

Florence /Pisa now that is somewhere I haven’t been to before, so that will be good to see  somewhere new, Rome is on the map also this year and we have booked a nice excursion with Royal Caribbean, including the Vatican, Spanish Steps & Colosseum etc – the journey from the port to the centre of Rome is quite a distance so I decided to let the cruise line take the strain.

Good old Gibraltar is on the cards again too – that’s my husbands favourite place, he likes the military connections we have and I like to take advantage of the shopping..

Lisbon – not been to Lisbon before so again something new to experience and maybe a ride on one of the famous trams there or perhaps try one of the Hop On Hop Off buses for a change.

All in all looking forward to going on Independence and a nice bonus some of my clients are also going on the same trip, and I will no doubt get to meet up with some familiar faces I hope.

Drinks – We have the basic package which most people will also be getting, but we have decided to pay for the upgrade and enjoy the Spirits & Cocktails too, you book on board on the first day you arrive at the Guest Services and the extra cost is $15.00 per person per day, really well worth it ( about £10.00 per person a day) Bargain !

So I will be back all refreshed at the end of July to start again ….
