The Tours The Limit

Part of the fun of your holiday are the tours and excursions you can take, With a cruise, you can arrange your own day trips or shopping expeditions or you can choose to go with a touring supplier or maybe try the cruise lines own excursion packages.

My own holidays I now tend to do a bit of both unless there is something, in particular, I want to see I will do my own thing. It is worthwhile doing a bit of homework before you look at tours to see how far the port is to the relevant town you are visiting, with some of the Countries they will be within walking distances, and some will be 1-2 hours away, so doing it yourself could save you quite a lot of money.

As soon as you can –  log onto your cruise personaliser and take a look at the tours which are on offer with the cruise line you are sailing with, you will find with most of them they will have 3-5 different ones, and on the sites you will be able to see if full day or half day, if strenuous or for the less energetic. If you find the tour you are wanting is a popular one, I would suggest you book it straight away, you will find your excursion vouchers in your cabin on the day of embarkation.

Getting it done early is recommended to guarantee your place.

On my last cruise with Celebrity, I booked all of them way before travelling, if you find you still haven’t decided what you want to do, there will always be an excursion desk on board to arrange any last minute ones or to help with any queries you may have. Or you may even decide to just stay on board your ship and enjoy the peace and quiet…

Let me know if you have any questions about tours.. See Ya
