Makeover Just For Me

7 weeks till we go on Explorer of the sea from Southampton, and the best news is she has had a huge makeover – just for me  – not really of course. So what’s the score?

Inside cabin with virtual balconies this is really popular on all the new ones they are building now, so its good to have the same on the Explorer, a surf simulator and the outdoor movie screen. These extras have all been added to her in the 5 week makeover which took part in Cadiz.

Also new on the ship, which is sailing from Southampton this summer are 24 panoramic cabins, including two family rooms that will each sleep up to six people, again this is fantastic as many families are not the standard 2 adults and 2 kids – some actually have 3 or 4 children believe it or not !!!

A sports bar and three speciality restaurants  – Chops Grill Steakhouse, Italian Giovanni’s Table & Japanese Izumi.

How many times do you search for that MAP of the ship to see where you are or how to get to where you want to get to? well now she has had Digital boards installed to help you find your way around, flat screen T.V’s in your cabin along with a general refresher of public areas too.

The refurb is part of Royal Caribbeans $300 make over and it has taken place in Cadiz.

So to say I am really looking forward to going on her is the understatement of the year I think- will I try the Rock Climbing or the Ice Skating or the Surf Simulator? I’m going to have a dam good try yes !
