Any Late Deals On The Go?

Royal Caribbean’s chairman Richard Fain has announced that the company’s three brands Azamara Club Cruises, Celebrity Cruise  and Royal Caribbean  will no longer be discounting cruises within 30 days of sailing, the only exceptions will be the mini cruises they operate.

The company’s no discount was initially brought out last year on a similar basis. The reasoning behind this brave move is to hopefully eliminate all of the passengers who book early feeling very disappointed and cheated, having paid possibly double the price of the late bookers.

So you may well find “is it worth waiting till nearer the time?” question a thing of the past with this brand, and if successful may mean the other cruise lines follow suit. So do you book now or do you wait? well if the price is the same you may as well book now.

This will hopefully stop that question and I for one will be really pleased.

Good idea or not – tell me what you think.
