After we viewed the Queens Grill Restaurant and the Exclusive Lounge and terrace we headed to the Britannia Club Restaurant. This restaurant was stunning and i actually preferred the look of it to the Queens Grill. You must book a Britannia Club stateroom in order to dine here, Queen Grill Suite guest are not allowed to dine here although i have been told they sometimes request to and are told no.

Guests who are not booked into the Queens Grill Or Britannia Club you can eat in the lido Buffet Restaurant or the Main Britannia Dining Room. We dined in the  Main Britannia Dining Room and the food was beautiful, and so was the wine of course.

The Evenings

How often do you get to waltz in a lavish ballroom? If you’re on board Queen Victoria, the answer is every evening. Dance the evening away under the stunning crystal chandelier, accompanied by a live orchestra. Not a great dancer ? no worries, why not take one of the complimentary lessons led by professional dancers.If you don’t fancy dancing in the ball room then head to the yacht club  where Queen Victoria’s resident band and DJ will play until the last person leaves. I was really surprised when i entered the Royal Court Theatre, it was very beautiful and traditional. The Royal Court Theater offers West-End style shows, delivered by a cast of very talented dancers and singers. You can even hire a box for the evening where you will enjoy champagne and canapes.  If you dont fancy a lively evening there are plenty low key bars and lounges to relax.

Overall i have a fantastic day on Board the Queen Victoria and i was pleasantly surprised. I have a friend say to me “i take it the ship was really old fashoned ” !!! my reply, not at all.
