Working 9 till 5…..that’s not how we do it

 

 

Booking on the high street gives you a time window of between 9-5 to choose your cruise, book and then chat about any alterations or queries you may have prior to sailing………….its a new world out there and how many of us want to actually sort our holidays out in our personal time when we are relaxed and not rushed , for many that’s in an evening ….oh dear the high street agent is shut ….the phone just keeps ringing or going to answer machine promising me a call back  tomorrow……….

 

 

We are here from 8 in the morning till 10pm in the evening and at at time that’s convenient for you, I know that when I make a decision to purchase something tomorrows too late …. I want it there and then , especially if my other half has given me the go ahead , I need to strike before he changes his mind!

 

Booking with cruise.co.uk gives all our clients this flexibility and also access to there consultants personal direct dial number .

Things don’t always go to plan and this happened on Friday evening …. I was working till 7 pm and took a call from a client who had arrived in Istanbul and been transferred  by the cruise line to her  one night pre cruise stay  which had been booked with them only to be told by the hotel that no room had been booked, by the time she’d realised there was a problem the transfer was no where to be seen.  The cruise line had transferred her from the airport and then dumped her at the hotel, luckily our clients knew we are here till 10pm everyday and could assist her ……….. Whilst our client had a relaxing drink in the bar we sorted the error on the cruise lines part and got the guests checked into there room whilst behind the scene unknown to the guests we went between the hotel and cruise line to get everything sorted so the clients could check out the following day and enjoy there cruise .

Between my self and a colleague who picked up the query after my shift finished we were able to liase with the client , hotel and cruise line to rectify the situation, what would of happened if this had been booked on the high street ? ??

Our clients would of got an answer machine telling them that the office was closed ….this is no help at all when your stranded in a hotel in Istanbul with no where to stay for the night.

Having somebody there at the end of a phone when you need them takes any worry out of your travelling plans and if you cant get hold of your original consultant at cruise.co.uk we all work as a team and would do for others clients as we would do for own own, nothing is too much trouble and our customer service is paramount to our success. We are so proud of our customer service that we ask everyone who books to ‘rate our service’ on our own personal blogs so anyone can read these reviews, we wouldn’t do that would we if we didn’t believe in ourselves and that our service is second to none  .

I’m very proud of each of my reviews and know I’ve done my job well when a client takes the time to add a few words about me and my service .
