Suitcases are out- its Honeymoon time

I’m on countdown to my own cruise in less that 2 weeks when I’ll be flying from Manchester to Venice for my delayed honeymoon.
After our wedding on 3rd March we had a jaunt in the lakes and now the time has come to get the cases out again for our week sailing on board Vision of the Seas cruising from Venice .
1st port of call is sailing into Kotor , Montenegro, the sail into Kotor is supposed to resemble sailing into the Fjords so were looking forward to a relaxing vino as we sail into port at lunchtime.
2nd port port call is Corfu, its been about 20 years since I last visited so looking forward to see if there’s been any changes.
Day 3 is Pireaus for Athens , do we pre book excursions here or make our own way to Athens – undecided at the moment.
Day 4 is Mykonos, we’ve been advised to follow the windmills and we wont get lost!
Day 5 is Argosoli
Day 6 is a relaxing day at sea
Day 7 disembark back in Venice
We’ve opted for the Mytime dining and pre booked all our restaurants , drinks package is included and gratuities are paid so all we’ve got to do is pack and get to the airport on time to get on that plane and then its time to enjoy ourselves.

Have you tried the Mytime dining?
Do you pre book your restaurants?
Do you pre pay your gratuities?

Reading a lot of cruise sites its a real mixed bag to what people opt for .
Reading one post this weekend opened a huge can of worms when some people passed judgement on diners not making apologies for not joining there table for the last nights evening meal.
I enjoy the Mytime/ Freedom/ Anytime dining so that I can please myself and don’t feel like i’m letting anyone else down if we don’t dine with them .
Gratuities are another topic that your either one side or the other, there’s no middle ground , pay or don’t pay .
I think it’s ok to remove gratuities as long as you do actually pay .

It’s now time to get back to the ironing board and fill those cases.
