P&O’s Aurora is flying the flag

 

 

Aurora is flying the flag……. she is now dressed in her new Union Jack livery , blue funnel and sun logo, she is the first ship of the fleet to sail with the new branding Aurora has set sail from Southampton following her £32 million refit that took nearly 3 weeks.

She has sailed out of Southampton yesterday for her 14 night Christmas & New Year cruise to Morocco, Canaries and Madeira .

Some of the changes are the additions a of the Sindhu restaurant which is overseen by Michelin star chef Atul Kochhar, a Glass House restaurant and bar with wines selected by TV presenter Olly Smith.

 

 

Here’s some figures for you…………more than three miles of pipework were replaced, 300,000 sq ft of new carpet laid, and 3,000 new mattresses were brought in for passengers and crew.

P&O’s next exciting venture is the addition of Britannia to her fleet in March 2015 and the rest of the fleet will all soon be proudly sailing wearing the Union Jack livery.
