Will I try the SeaWalk on the Royal Princess?

Now there’s a question! As someone who once went round the top of Plymouth Hoe lighthouse on their hands and knees, I think this amazing new feature 128 ft above sea level is going to pose something of a challenge for me however I am going to do my best to try it – I will let you know how it goes!

I am lucky enough to be one of the Agents chosen to spend a night on board the new Royal Princess, next Saturday, before the cruise passengers start boarding. I am really looking forward to this as it will be my first ever time on board Princess Cruise Lines.

Royal Princess has many of the well loved features that Princess passengers have come to recognise as part of the brand, along with many new and innovate features, the SeaWalk being one of them.

It is going to be a whirlwind visit but I have made a mental list of things I would like to see and try out while on board. These include Princess Live! the on board TV studio featuring interactive culinary demonstrations, late night comedy and game shows. Is this a first at sea I wonder?

The Sanctuary and the Lotus Spa are a couple of things that I really want to see even though they are already well established in the Princess fleet. They just look so peaceful and relaxing.

I will definitely be heading up to the Ocean Terrace Seafood Bar – I just love seafood and cannot wait to sample what they have to offer. I really hope it doesn’t disappoint! I shall swiftly follow this with a visit to Gelato where they will be serving sundaes, smoothies, frosted shakes, and a selection of homemade ice creams – can’t wait!

So much to see and do and so little time to see it all, however I will do my best to get around as much of the ship as I can – taking lots of pictures of the carpets en route. I will let you know my thoughts when I get back.
