A Sea Dream Christmas with 2 Virgins…………….

The last couple of weeks the phones in the office are ringing off the hook. Many people finally decided that they want to go on a family cruise this summer holiday and can I find them a good deal? Are they serious?
Unfortunately, it does not work like this in the cruise business. Family cabins book up really early – up to eighteen months in advance, and, even when there are cabins, no flights are available  to get to the port of departure.

Take it from me –  when you want to cruise during peak season, make sure you plan and book as soon as possible. This is not just for the summer holiday,  but also for Christmas and Easter!

For you who are thinking about booking a cruise for Christmas I would get in quick – flights are already booking up.

If you are looking for something really special for over the Christmas period, have a look at something I’ve just booked for one of my regulars – I’m sure she won’t mind me sharing this with you

I booked her a SeaDream Yachtclub Christmas Caribbean cruise to the West Indies.

St. Thomas and other Virgin Islands such as St. John and Virgin Gorda are ports of call. These islands are a favorite stopover for many cruisers. Given the natural beauty of the islands, this favoritism is not surprising to anyone who has visited there. The Virgin Islands also have one of the best climates in the West Indies–lower humidity and pleasant, year-round trade winds. Tourism is king here, having replaced agriculture years ago.

Each Virgin Island has its own personality, whether it be American or British. Although the British Virgin Islands (BVI) are beautiful and popular with holidaymakers and cruisers, it is the three U.S. Virgins that get the largest numbers of cruise passengers each year. The BVI are simpler and less visited, as are St. Croix and St. John.

The Christmas ports of call are:

22-DEC-2012, Saturday Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas, USVI 14:00 18:00
23-DEC-2012, Sunday CRUZ BAY, ST JOHN Morning Late evening
24-DEC-2012, Monday Virgin Gorda, BVI Morning Afternoon
25-DEC-2012, Tuesday Little Bay, Montserrat Morning Afternoon
26-DEC-2012, Wednesday Saba, Netherlands Antilles Morning Mid-day
26-DEC-2012, Wednesday Gustavia, St Barts, FWI Afternoon Overnight
27-DEC-2012, Thursday Gustavia, St Barts, FWI Late evening
28-DEC-2012, Friday Jost van Dyke, BVI Morning Afternoon
29-DEC-2012, Saturday San Juan, Puerto Rico Morning 10:00
