So Exactly What Does a Mongolian Throat Singer Sound Like?

A What?  This sounded too weird, and needed further investigation!

I’ve been reading through our fabulous new and exclusive Bucket List brochure, featuring those far away places and experiences most of us only get to dream about, and was intrigued to come across this unusual excursion included in our Fully escorted Mongolia & China Bucket List Tour on the Diamond Princess.   http://goo.gl/D2aVVI   I think its a fantastic tour as it gives you such unusual and rarely seen experiences.  I mean how often do you get to meet a Nomadic family on your travels?  Or get to stay overnight in a traditional Mongolian Ger Camp?  You can only imagine the majesty and splendour of the Bogd Palace Museum and Winter Palace!  And after you have had your fill of Genghis, your adventure continues in China with a glass of Champagne whilst standing on the Great Wall!  How about that for Bragging Rights!

Here’s the itinerary to give you a taste of what you can expect.

I know virtually nothing about this part of the world, and would love to find out more about this unique experience.

I have of course heard of the Mighty Genghis Khan, mainly from school in our History lessons (when I was paying attention – which to be honest, wasnt very often…..) and seeing this offering has sparked my curiosity.

Mongolian Throat Singers? The mind boggles, it certainly had my imagination in overdrive! So here’s a video to satisfy your curiosity.

Be warned though, its very unusual, and although not meant to – had me in fits of giggles….
