Merry Christmas Everyone

I can’t believe it is this time of year again already.  Where have the last 12 months gone?  I have now broken up from work until the New Year and looking forward to spending Christmas with my family as usual.  The festive season for me started last weekend when Cruise.co.uk went on their Christmas conference from Liverpool to Dublin on board Fred Olsen Boudicca.  As always the 3 nights away were very enjoyable and everyone had a good time.  The first night on board was an 80’s theme fancy dress for us and I do like to get dressed up.  I was also really looking forward to visiting Dublin as I hadn’t been there for a while.  It was a really good fun few days away and now I am definitely ready for Christmas.

Luckily I had finished my Christmas shopping a while ago so can just relax in the few days before the celebrations.  I shall be singing on Christmas Eve which I have done the last few years with Alcester Musical Theatre Company.  We will be singing at the Crowne Plaza in Stratford Upon Avon for the hotel guests.  This certainly puts you in the Christmas spirit and then I go to my nans house where we have pork baps.  This is a family tradition.  This year my husband has to work more than normal.  As he is a chef he always works Christmas Day but this year seems to be working more.  We should hopefully still get some time together to spend with both families.  I have nothing planned for New Year and the last few years we have just celebrated as a family.  I can’t believe that it is nearly time now and looking forward to having some time off to refresh my batteries ready for January 2017.  I hope everyone has a great Christmas and I will be back in the New Year.
