2 down, 1 to go!

Well over the last few weeks I have been out and about.  I had a lovely few days in Leeds for my wedding anniversary.  The weather wasn’t great but we enjoyed the shopping and what Leeds had to offer.  There are lots of nice restaurants here.  Then last weekend I went to Great Yarmouth with my family for a few days.  It was the first time I had been to Great Yarmouth and I really enjoyed it.  We stayed in a hotel on the seafront and it was in the middle of the golden mile.  The hotel itself was quite old fashioned but we had a good size room and it was clean.

There wasn’t any evening entertainment at the hotel but they did have a nice bar area.  The weather couldn’t have been any better for us and we spent lots of time outside in the sunshine and down by the sea.  There is plenty to do here but we wanted a relaxing break so tried out many of the cafes.  There are plenty of cafes and places to eat along the seafront as well as arcades, shops and a pleasure beach.  There were quite a few mini golf areas which we played a few times too.  It was nice to be away for 4 days and have glorious sunshine.  I have only been back a few days and I am off again on my travels.  This is my last holiday now of the year and I am going down to Devon for a week.  I am going with my husband and we are booked into a caravan.  I can’t believe I haven’t had an abroad holiday this year and that it is my second caravan holiday of the year however I am really looking forward to it.  I just hope that we get some nice sunny weather while there.  That will be it then for this year but Christmas will soon be around the corner.
