A River Cruise? It’s The Future!

Are you fed up of competing with another 4000 plus passengers to check in for your cruise?

Confused about where to eat and what time you can?

If you can answer yes to either of these questions, then why not join the growing number of people who are swapping the high seas for the more sedate and intimate journey on a river cruise.

It really is a growing trend with a lot of the cruise lines – Swan Hellenic have just announced that they’re going to offer cruises that sail both on the ocean and up river! The Minerva will explore the White Sea and the Solovetsky Islands before sailing along the Loire, Seine and Garonne rivers – as well as the Thames.

Just imagine travelling serenely down the Rhine, sampling the delights of the local area or travelling further afield to China and Vietnam and spending time delving into local culture and traditions. What’s not to like?

I find that I am talking more and more to traditional cruisers that are wanting to try river cruises – to experience something different.

There are some great river cruise itineraries out there – fair enough, they may work out a bit more expensive than your average Ocean cruise – but think of the added value, many river cruise lines include drinks and excursions – and we all know how much that can add to your on board account!

Have a think about a river cruise, get in touch if you want any information. I am sure you won’t be disappointed.
