Honeymoon Countdown Begins!

A couple of months ago you may remember I tied the knot, and since that day many of my friends, family, colleagues and customers have been asking me when or where the honeymoon is?

Down to the frustrating fact that my better half is a teacher, we have to stick to school holidays, and since we were already booked up at Christmas with days out, family gatherings and of course many days of eating and feeling hungover, February was the first opportunity we got to think about jetting off somewhere.

Unbeknownst to me, Toni, my wife, had already booked it, knowing for many years where my dream destination was, The Maldives.

Yes I have always had, like many people I guess, the desire to sit out on the white sand, swim in the crystal water, and just generally experience what most folk would class as paradise………….

I mean dammmnnn look at that! Paradise right?

Anyway she surprised me with it a few months ago and I almost collapsed with excitement, and since then it’s been hard to think about anything else.

I think just that feeling of escapism is what attracts me most. Even if it’s just for a week, that feeling of landing somewhere so far from home that you literally need to take a boat to. It’s the stuff dreams are made of right?

It helps of course that we are staying in a 5 star resort, and will be spending each night looking at the sea and stars from our stilted water bungalow, eating and drinking well and just generally having a great time on our honeymoon.

So the clock is ticking for us, just over a month to wait and we will be there!

I’m sure I’ve painted you a stunning picture of the excitement I can barely contain, but if you want to actually go to the Maldives, then I am also able to send you there! Yes I can book flights and accommodation to this ultimate tropical haven! And in a month or so I’ll be able to give you chapter and verse too, just try and stop me!
