Airport Lounges – Stupid Not To Really

So I’m sat in an online seminar the other day (AKA a Webinar as we web nerds call them) listening to one of our new trade suppliers talk about their fantastic new airport lounges scattered across various UK airports.

The sales rep was really emphasizing  the quality of her brand over to us, so much so that it got me thinking as I was taking in the information, and I suddenly realised that I had never booked an airport lounge!

To be honest it’s kind of one of those innocuous little things that you don’t instinctively think about when booking your fly / cruise holiday.

This made me question why?

I mean, what is the single worst part of going on holiday? The airport right? Of course it is.

The world and his wife cannot stand being sat around breathing everyone else’s second hand air can they?

I know I certainly can’t anyway.

Looking around, watching folks dragging their brats across the floor telling them, ‘You wont be going on the plane at this rate!’

Or dodging commuters as they fly past you at 100mph spitting their damn moccachino into your face as you apologise for whacking your nuts against their laptop case, arrrghhh!!

You all know where I’m coming from!

So why do we all not automatically book a lounge? Food, drink, comfy seats, TV, but most of all, serenity………..

‘Too expensive’ I hear you say!

Not at all.

It turns out you can book these premium lounges from about £30 each, and with our new partnership, you get all your food, drink and entertainment you can shake a stick at! Hell you can even go for a sleep if you want!

It’ll be the best 3 hours you ever spent waiting in an airport I can guarantee you that!

A Little Airport Luxury Perhaps?

So next time you book a fly/cruise with me – which you should be doing anyway, why not add on that airport lounge and add a splash of exclusivity to the start of your holiday, it’s a cruise your taking so you should be starting as you mean to go on!
