Carnival Horizon

Great news for all us Carnival fans there new ship Carnival Horizon which launches in April 2018 in Europe, Carnival Horizon is the second Vista class (modified Dream-class) vessel in Carnival Cruise Lines fleet. Horizon is the newest Carnival ship, still under construction in Italy at Financier shipyard. When she debuts in March 2018 Carnival Horizon will be the 26th and the largest in fleet, together with sister ship Vista and the Dream-class vessels BreezeMagic and Dream

Her home Ports will be New York and Miami and she will have a brief spell in Barcelona,

Itinerary’s          

The Carnival Horizon is scheduled to make its maiden voyage April 2, 2018, with a 13-day Mediterranean voyage operating round-trip from Barcelona and calling at Livorno, Rome (Civitavecchia), and Naples (Capri and Pompeii), Italy; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Corfu, Greece; Messina (Sicily), Italy; Valletta, Malta; and Cagliari (Sardinia), Italy –

The first of four round-trip departures from this Spanish port. Carnival Horizon will also operate two seven-day cruises departing April 15 and 22, 2018, and featuring Cagliari (Sardinia), Naples (Capri and Pompeii), Rome (Civitavecchia), Livorno, and Marseilles,

And a 10-day voyage departing April 29, 2018, with stops at Livorno, Rome (Civitavecchia), Naples (Capri and Pompeii), Dubrovnik, Corfu and Messina (Sicily).

After arriving in New York in late May, Carnival Horizon will offer a summer schedule of eight-day Caribbean cruises operating round-trip from New York and featuring visits to Grand Turk; San Juan; and Amber Cove (Dominican Republic).

The Carnival Horizon will then move to Miami and kick off a year-round schedule of six- and eight-day Caribbean cruises beginning Sept. 22, 2018. Prior to the start-up of this program, Carnival Horizon will offer a 2 Night cruise to Nassau from Miami Sept. 20-22, 2018.

The 133,500-ton, 4000-passenger cruise ship Carnival Horizon offers all Carnival Fun Ship 2.0 details, plus many first at sea features, including the Multiplex (the first at sea IMAX theatre with a 3-deck large screen); Skyride (extraordinary peddled roller coaster bike ride); Havana cabins complex (with pool, lounge and its own bar); Family Harbour staterooms; the biggest Sports Square sport complex; Fun Ship 2.0’s Blue Iguana Cantina, Red Frog Bar and Alchemy Bar; new show programming; Carnival Cloud 9 Spa & Fitness.
