Britannia Returns Home

The flagship of the P&O fleets returns home on Friday just 1 year after her launch, she was names on the 10 March by the Queen, and she has been in the Caribbean this winter doing serval itineraries from Barbados,

I was lucky enough to travel on her last year and loved every minute of her and thought it is what the P&O fleet needed to bring its ships into date with the other Cruise lines,

The feedback over the last year I must admit has been very mixed from loyal P&O clients some have loved her but many not too sure, which has surprised me lots of my clients have still preferred Ventura and Azura,

She is getting herself on the TV in the next few months, While P&O Cruises has already linked up with celeb-chefs for their Cookery Club School, the ship will also act as the backdrop to the first celebrity-led TV cooking contest at sea, Battle chefs, from April 4. Furthermore, on April 2 Britannia will be the setting for another first when it hosts Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway live from the top deck.

She has some lovely itinerary for the summer and also a first she will be based out of St Lucia for the 2016/2017 winter programme which is a lovely change from the normal home port of Barbados,

I think that she will grow on everyone and will become a very popular ship with all P&O loyal clients
