P&O Britannia’s TV Debut!

I think just about everyone tuned in to watch Ant and Decs Saturday night takeaway on Saturday night filmed live from onboard P&O’s newest ship the Britannia which was docked in Barcelona for the event.

The Britannia has just celebrated her 1st birthday after taking her maiden sailing in March 2015 and has really hit it big time with her TV debut! It seemed the logical thing for P&O to use the Britannia from her fleet to host the show, being the newest ship and I thought it really did showcase the ship well, she looked fantastic and I think the public will have all been wishing they were sailing onboard her, I know I was thinking just that!

There was a host of stars onboard for the event including the main men Ant and Dec, Stephen Mulhern, Stacey Solomon, Peter Andre, Kathryn Jenkins and more, aswell as competition winners from the show plus of course all of the paying guests that had booked the cruise for there own holiday. It seemed that customers could watch the show from around the ship in various bars, lounges and the theater, as well as of course the main deck, although I am sure there would have been some passengers onboard who weren’t interested in the show and just carried on doing there own thing around the ship Saturday night!

When P&O announced they were going to be teaming up with Saturday night takeaway to film a live episode onboard they sent notifications to all passengers who were already booked on the sailing, and surprisingly some passengers decided to cancel and not sail on the cruise, everyone is different of course I personally would have loved to have sailed onboard and experienced the buzz from Saturday night it looked like there was a great atmosphere onboard, But of course it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea!
