New Ships of 2016 Part 2!

Following on from my recent blog post I thought I would update you with even more cruise ships that will be launching during 2016, it really is a busy year for the cruise world!

Firstly we have Royal Caribbeans 2nd new ship of 2016;

Harmony Of The Seas

She is set to be the biggest cruise ship in the world taking over her sister the Allure Of The Seas.She can carry a maximum of 6,410 passengers when sailing at full occupancy and a huge tonnage of 227,000! She will set sail on her maiden voyage on the 29th May 2016 from our very own home port of Southampton and she will head down to Barcelona, so a great opportunity for the UK cruise market to experience this brand new ship. You can expect to find similar facilities onboard the Harmony as the Oasis class including the seven themed neighborhoods, plus the largest water slide at sea measuring in at an impressive 10 storeys high!

Regent Seven Seas Explorer

One of my favorite cruise liners, Regent Seven Seas are to launch a  new ship for 2016 the Explorer. Regent are a Luxury cruise brand and they promise there new ship will be the most luxurious liner at sea. She will set sail on her maiden voyage in July 2016 from Monte Carlo and will carry 750 passengers on this all suite ship. You can expect to find 6 luxury restaurants, an array of beautiful suites and of course the Regents signature ‘all inclusive’ basis onboard.

Seabourn Encore

So we have a little wait for this gem of a ship, she isn’t set to launch until December 2016 but she will definitely be worth the wait! Another fantastic luxury cruise liner for the Seabourn fleet. This smaller ship at only just over 40,000 tonnes will carry 604 guests meaning plenty of space onboard for passengers. Her maiden voyage in December will sail form Athens for 10 nights and sold out within a couple of days of going on sale! Already a hugely popular ship!
