48 Hours Of Summer

Over the past month we really have been experiencing different types of weather around the country. It really is hard to believe just a few weeks ago snow was spotted in the North.  So this weekend was a real treat, temperatures were saoring all over the land. Luckily it was my weekend off do the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. Saturday evening my family, the four of us cycled to our local family pub and met friends and ate outside. It was so nice to be able to do this and enjoy watching the kids playing football. I love the way that all the other children who were there joined in.

On Sunday we enjoyed a lovely family barbecue and I’m hoping to have plenty more.

I am lucky to live right by the seafront and able to enjoy a day at the beach at any time. The main attraction is our Grand Pier and the popular donkey rides. It really is a place that everyone heads to when the weather is right!

We’ve joined the National Trust too as I enjoy being outside and lucky to live in Somerset which is a picturesque county with stunning scenery there are lot’s of walks in and around the area. My only problem is trying to get the rest of the family motivated so have been toying with the idea of getting a dog. Now that I work from home it will keep me company and wouldn’t be left for long periods. Who knows what I will decide.
