My Dream Cruise…

Make no mistake, my heart lies with the Ocean.

Queen Mary 2

The rolling waves, the fresh sea air and the gentle shudder as we slice through the water will always give me goosebumps, but this got me thinking – do I have a dream cruise? The answer is YES! Tonight I was browsing some options for a customer when I stumbled across a stunning itinerary on a truly iconic ship. Here is that itinerary:

Granted it is a lot of sea days but there is a number of reasons that this cruise appeals to me.

Let’s start with the ship – Queen Mary 2, the last great Ocean Liner that we are bless to have sailing our seven seas. She is an absolute beauty, sleek lines, a long bow and a deep hull means she is perfect for cruising in almost any condition. Not only is she built to last, she is built for luxury. A sumptuous array of staterooms and suites await which will give you the chance to relax and enjoy the wash of the water as the ship slices through the waves – with that many days at sea I’d certainly want a balcony and I most certainly would spend some time in my cabin.

Second off, the itinerary – I think it’s nearly every cruise addicts dream to cross the Atlantic, there really is only one way to do it – on Queen Mary 2! It’s Christmas, the amount of festivities on board will be truly  memorable as well as the beautiful decorations that they will drape around the ship. Of course, I have to mention the Caribbean – warm weather, crystal clear water and golden sands to enjoy on Boxing day, what could be better?

So tell me, what is your dream cruise? Would you like a cruise of this length? Would you choose a particular destination? Who would you want to share this cruise with?

Happy Cruising!
