I’m coming home Glory!

Well at last I am heading back to sea with my latest cruise booking tonight! I am thrilled to be sailing once again on my beautiful Carnival Glory, the same ship I first cruised the Caribbean on in 2015. On that trip we did the 7 night Western Caribbean itinerary, it included Cozumel, Belize, Roatan and Grand Cayman and what a trip it was.

This year we are setting sail on the opposite, the Eastern Caribbean, our ports are as follows.

Miami

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

At Sea

St Thomas

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Grand Turk

At Sea

Miami.

We will then be spending 2 nights in Miami after the cruise and after the little fire incident last time that really did but a little dampner on our time in Miami. I am hoping to visit the Celebrity Homes in the area and enjoy some more time relaxing on Miami Beach. I am sure we will find some more lovely places to eat and of course do some damage on the credit card with the many Art Deco shops that are in the area.

We are flying direct from London Heathrow with Virgin Atlantic of which we got a cracking deal! Now one thing I wanted to mention was the transfers, we will not actually be booking any transfers for this trip, we will be using Uber. An alternative to taxis you simply request the vehicle on the app and the car will take you to your destination, you don’t even have to pay in cash as it is all linked to a payment card of your choice. It also works out much cheaper than a taxi and even transfers themselves.
