Royal Caribbean – Man Over Board

My deepest thoughts go out to the 2 men who had either fallen or jumped over board on both the Adventure of the seas and the Independence of the seas . A young man of 26 was reported to have jumped over board in late December and then a married man of 65 was reported to have fallen over board just days after the first incident.

Is this becoming more of an increasing accident as generally I’ve never heard of such incidents happening so closely together. Back in 2012 a man fell over board from his balcony on an RSVP gay cruise. I think the fact the the man had fallen over and had been drinking so much may have been one of the biggest causes, however the RSVP gay cruises are renowned for the heavy drinking and partying until all hours.

I could think of nothing worse then falling over into the cold dark sea . So please remember to take care when you are on your cruise, especially if you have been drinking as I should imagine this may be one of the most obvious causes to this incident happening.
