All Inclusive Cruises

So we all love a drink at sea whilst reading a book, sitting by the pool or just relaxing in one of the many fantastic bars on-board a cruise ship. I seem to be seeing more and more of an interest of customers asking about different beverage package deals when it comes to cruising.

Of course you have the most popular cruise lines such as Celebrity and Royal Caribbean offering different types of beverage packages at a more realistic price, from $45 per person per day for a classic package, a premium package from $55 per person per day and the ultimate package from $65 per person per day.

Most cruise liners are now offering beverage packages to suit the needs of customers by style, taste and types. However we still have the odd few cruise liners that do not offer this facility as they are well aware how much margin they can make by passengers not pre-booking a beverage package. Talking from experience I traveled on the Norwegian Star back in 2009 and did not have the opportunity to pre-book a beverage package and our bar bill was over $1000, for a 7 night cruise.

I know most cruise liners now offer beverage packages however P&O are still one cruise company to join the times and offer this service. Although in my experience P&O are probably one of the most reasonably priced drinks on-board. There has been some mention that P&O may introduce a beverage package however they understand that their clientele are simply not on-board to booze it up, although no cruise liner would expect to become a booze cruise! Especially with health and safety.
