A 1st for LGBT Cruises

Anteros Cruises has just recently announced that they will be the worlds first cruise line to openly dedicate their cruises to the LGBT market, thus giving LGBT customers a more ample feel to cruising!

Although we have the likes of Atlantis and RSVP cruises that privately charter selected cruise lines to promote LGBT cruises as a one off, Anteros Cruises will be completely open all year round to LGBT customers. As a gay man myself I am intrigued as to what this cruise line is about and what they have to offer other than just being open to the LGBT market.

This is scheduled to commence sailings starting from April 2017 so we are probably some time off from checking availability and admiring the ship contents and what it will have to offer. I should imagine the ship will be quite intimate as a smaller ship and should the cruise company become very successful then we may see the fleet grow.

I must admit I would like to try this style of cruise compared to the typical cruise just to see the difference. Whether this be the type of ports they call into, the entertainment on-board and also the different nationalities that this may appeal to. It is an exciting concept and I hope this works out really well for them. As many cruise lines have their unique tag line to their cruise, here is the tagline for Anteros Cruises.
