Perfect Day Coco Cay

Royal Caribbean have finally opened their new private island resort. Perfect Day Coco Cay.

Having been to Labadee a couple of times on cruises I have an idea of what to expect. Royal Caribbean have really upped their game with the facilities on offer here. Along with the usual powder white beaches they have added a lot of extras including towering water slides, wave pool machines at the thrill waterpark. The tallest water slide in North America Dare Devils peak can be found here. Like Labadee they also have a zip line that will take you accross the island.

As well as the Cabanas they also have Chill Island where you will find over water bungalows. These are the first over water Cabanas in the Bahamas (think Bora Bora) These Cabanas are not cheap! At around £420 for the day. There is room for up to 8 people with complimentary waters. Im not sure its worth it for the price.
The South Beach Cabanas set on the beach will only set you back around £300

You dont need to rent a cabana for the day as you can still find a nice spot on the beach with free loungers but if you want to get into the Water park this will set you back around £41 for a half day pass or £60 for a full day.

The Oasis Lagoon is a resort style complex with large pool and bars serving drinks and snacks.

I am visiting Coco Cay on my next cruise in December so pop back for a live report.
