2015 is going to be a big year in the world of cruising we have Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas and P&O Britannia coming to Southampton. So which one to you fancy? I have to say I am a fan of P&O!! For me they are great for my little one as the kids clubs start at a younger age and they have a fantastic night nursery on board. However I also like the glitz & glam that Royal Caribbean seem to ooze on their all singing all dancing ships.
So whats the difference between them? Lets have a look
Britannia is being built just for us Brits! So if you love all that’s British she is the one for you! Although from the pictures a little more elegant and modern looking than some of the older ships. She will be the biggest P&O ship yet holding 4372 passengers & 1400 crew, 13 restaurants & cafes all spread over 15 decks
Now to the Anthem of the Seas
Holding 4180 passengers it’s been said that Anthem will be marketed at the younger & family cruisers out there. Anthem will be a giant musical theme ship with several different locations for music & entertainment. Anthem will be the sister ship to the brand new Quantum of the seas. Take a look at this little video on the Quantum and see whats on offer!!
