Swan Hellenic’s Minerva is back and better than ever!

Last week the Minerva arrived back in to Portsmouth to embark on her first sailing after a 3 month refurbishment.
Swan Hellenic have keep the same small ship charm and not increased the number of cabins or passengers on board however they have increased the number of balconies on board from 14 to 44 and upgraded 181 en suite passenger cabins.
Other new features include a newly installed Promenade deck and lounge bar with 360 degree view as well as an improved internet area.
Swan Hellenic proved her popularity back in 2006 after plans we’re annonced by the Carnival group that they we’re going to discontinue the line and re deploy the Minerva.
Telegraph travel launched a  “Save our Swan” campaign and after hundreds of readers wrote in opposing the decision Lord Sterling a former Chairman for P&O stepped in and brought the Swan Hellenic name and with the help of the all leisure Holiday group secured her future.
