The Suite Life with Silversea Part 2

After a very comfortable first night on board the Silver Spirit, We woke on the Island Of Chios to a beautiful Sunny day.

Now we know one of the many great benefits of sailing on a small ship is they can dock closer to town and I think you will agree these pictures highlight that perfectly.

It was Sunday when we arrived so most of the shops were closed but we enjoyed a nice walk around town before heading back to the ship for some lunch and  I couldn’t resist a little afternoon tea.

That evening we dined in the Hot Rocks restaurant.

It was my fist time trying lave stone cooking and I was not disappointed. The concept is great, Real Volcanic slabs are heated to 400 degrees before coming to your table. You then have a choice of meat, fish and vegetables which you then to cook exactly as you like it. Just take a look at the size of those Madagascan prawns, they were delicious!!

After a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable day I retired to bed early ready for an early morning start as we head to Ephesus!
