School Holidays

Recently I have been inundated with calls from people looking to book 3 & 4 berth cabins in the Peak Season school holidays leaving from the UK.
So I thought I would give an update as alot of people don’t realise how full the ships get at this time of year and are often disappointed when I can’t get them on to the cruise they want. This may be because the cabins have sold out or there may only be suites for example so blowing their budgets.

At other times I have to advise the passengers that I can’t book them on the cruise they want as the ships not taking any more children of certain age groups. This is for insurance purposes any they normally will not budget.

For example this is how things stand with the Ventura at the moment:

30/07/2011 – 14Nights – No kids 0-016
20/08/2011 – 14Nights – No kids 3-7
23/07/2011 – 7 Nights – No kids 3-7
13/08/2011 – 7 Nights – No kids 3-8

If you are still looking then this is the best deal I have been able to find:

Queen Mary II 12 Nights the Fjords

D2 4 berth cabin with 2 adults and 2 children Grade inside cabin (Only 3 cabins left) Total £3180

Generally my advice to people with families is book up as far in advance as you can. I have lots of passengers who book at launch time so as not to miss out on free child places, free car parking, on board credit and other deals the cruise lines have to offer. This also gives them a chance to secure their cruise before any price increases
