I’m Going to Be Live Onboard Majestic Princess

This week Princess Cruises will be launching their brand new ship, Majestic of the Seas and I’ve been lucky enough to have been invited onboard to join the celebrations.

On Friday I shall be flying out to Venice and meeting the ship in Triest, we then set sail to Montenegro before finally finishing our 4 Night Voyage in Rome.

Looks like the perfect Itinerary to me, we get to visit Montenegro, a place I’ve never been before and we also get two full sea days to enjoy exploring the ship.

Water Color Fantasy Show –

A dazzling outdoor extravaganza. Everyone will ooh and aah as the night sky lights up with a mesmerizing spectacle of water dancing to the sounds of music. While brightly colored lights illuminate the water, you’ll see a captivating show of waltzes, pirouettes, and fountains shooting water up to 33 feet high all choreographed to music.

Hollywood Pool Club –

This covered pool offers a Hollywood chic-style environment day and night, year-round, surrounded by comfortable loungers, modern sculptures, and topiaries. By day, relax in the freshwater pool or soak in the steaming hot tubs — the glass dome keeps both the water and the environment comfortable despite outside weather. By night, the pool transforms into a luxurious nightclub, with a top-quality sound system and atmospheric lighting.

I’ve previously sailed with Princess on board the Crown Princess and I also attended the launch celebrations of the Royal Princess back in 2012. This was just one night in Southampton but Princess really pulled out all the stops and it was a fantastic evening so I’m certain this launch is going to be just as impressive.

Majestic is a sister ship to the Regal & Royal Princess but with a certain Chines Flair as she’s been designed specifically for the Chinese market.

She will begin her maiden season in Europe with sailing between April and May. She then sets sail on the Epic Silk Road Rod route, a 49-night voyage from Rome to her home port of Shanghai.
