NCL go all inclusive – Drinks and tips included!

Norwegian Cruise Line have gone fully inclusive, so all guests will receive their drinks package including the service charge that gets added on to each order. All guests will also have their gratuities included in their cruise fare, rather than having them added daily, or having them paid up front. I’m pretty certain this will be a rather huge hit with the UK cruise market, as in general you all go nuts for a free drinks package and as a rule of thumb hate paying gratuities.

All booking made from the 6th April will be all inclusive making the cruise line more like an all inclusive land holiday, and with the growth of popularity of all inclusive resorts, I think it is a great move for NCL. I think people like not having to worry about how expensive things seem especially with the pound being so weak against the Euro and US Dollar currently.

Having sampled NCL for the first time back in October 2015, I must say, they are great. The food is as good as any other cruise line I have sailed with. The feeling on board is lovely as it’s freestyle cruising, so it gives a more relaxed feel and less stuffy, but without losing the quality. I can imagine the staff will be happier knowing everyone has their tips included too.

I did feel the drinks were very expensive though, but now with them being all inclusive…Happy days indeed!!

I have no doubt there will be an increase in pricing, however with what you are getting included, they will surely be a great option for everyone! The only things that you would need to budget for are spa treatment, specialty dining, shore excursions and shopping on board. Perfect.
