It’s finally here!!

I am signing off today for a week and when I return I will be a married man. I have a shed load of things to get done in the run-up and the weather is looking pretty wet for this entire week, which is not ideal when I have a garden to decorate and trim!! We have spent the last 3 weeks building timber frames for the gazebos just in case the wet weather runs over to the Saturday.

I honestly thought having our reception in our garden would make the whole thing easy, how little did I know. I have made countless lists of ‘things left to do’ which no matter how many I write, the amount on them never seems to go down. Now with only 5 days left, slight panic is now kicking in, however, I have a couple of child-free days and a fairly clear idea in my head and all of the decorations ready and made and just waiting to go up.

I am looking forward to getting my office cleared of decorations as at the moment a have lost about 50% of the floor space in here with poms poms, bunting sweets, flowers, suits and dresses. It’s bad enough having the Christmas tree and suitcases stored in here!!

We are getting lots of messages and friends and family visiting saying how excited they are for the big day, nothing like added pressure, ha ha. A couple more hours of work and then it’s full steam ahead with the final jobs list.
