And what a first year it has been for me at Cruise.co.uk I started my journey in Redditch on the 29th January where the lovely Heidi came and took me under her wing like a mother hen and nurtured me and showed me the cruise.co.uk ways. I myself have come from a big retail travel background and started my travel experience way back in 1996 as a YTS for Sheffield Co-op Travel I discovered I had a passion for travel and got a real buzz from helping people find there dream holiday and even now in 2018 I still get that same buzz and don’t think it will ever disappear. This year has seen me move into my dream home with my partner Laura and my 17-year-old son Jack and our 3 doggies Alfie Flynn and Princess. This  year has been a wonderful year of travel we have visited Mexico, New York, Lake district, Las Vegas and San Francisco and I won a place on a river cruise and our Christmas bash in Dublin and 2019 is going to be even better Poland, Bruges, Iceland, New York, New York again a Caribbean cruise and then Miami for a week or could possibly be New York again Jack an Laura are still deciding I just go with the flow. That’s why I love this job so much it gives me so much freedom to spend time with my Family and make those memories that will last forever. Moving into the new year brings some NEW challenges with our new in-house system being launched but I do love a challenge and I’m ready to step up and face those challenges head on it also brings on new personal targets for me as I was still in training last January and didn’t get to experience the mad January rush which I’m super excited about so bring it on. Finally, as this is my last blog of 2018 I just want to thank each an every one of you for joining me on my wonderful and exciting journey and I wish you all a fantastic new year and hope 2019 brings you everything you hope and wish for. Lots of love Berni
