coming to you live from Dublin

You are reading this as Cruise.co.uk are on our annual Christmas conference which I’m delighted to say is onboard the Cruise and Maritime s Marco Polo and we are cruising to Ireland from Bristol. Now December and the Irish sea are not a good combination and so I have packed plenty of pro plus and sickness tablets as well as Lucozade just in case there may be one or two hangovers. Its been a long time since I last crossed the Irish sea as my grandparents used to live in Northern Ireland so we used to frequently travel over to Belfast as a child. I’m excited as we are doing a hop on hop off bus tour in Dublin and meeting up later with everyone to sample the temple bar area whilst some of my colleagues are off to the Guinness factory and a whiskey brewery. I plan on wrapping up very warm and have bought a new hat and gloves to keep me warm as expecting snow in the UK this weekend so Ireland may be the same. Our first night is going to be fancy dress and this year’s theme is movies so I’m going as one of the pink ladies from Grease the musical and so I can’t wait to see what everyone else is going to be wearing. We are also having a Christmas jumper day so I have mine packed and ready to go along with one or two other outfits I am a lady after all and I do like to take different options lol. Its going to be a great get together as we all live all over in the UK and also some of my work colleagues live in Spain and are flying in especially so will be great to see everyone’s faces and have a good catch up keep your fingers crossed that the seas not too rough for all us travel agents on board .
