Do you need protection?

You may think ‘What is she on about?’

Well let me explain….

I have friends, family & even some customers who book their own holidays online then something goes wrong and what do they do – come to me for advice or help.

I will help anyone but as a Travel Agent this is the worst thing that can happen as firstly, they didn’t book with me, secondly, they then want my help to sort out whatever issue there is.

I can give so many examples of this, so here are a few:-

  1. Booked flights & hotel separately then flights are cancelled & can’t change hotel so lose money if have to re-book something else.
    2. Booked the wrong dates and didn’t realise until doing online check-in.
    3. Spelt a name incorrectly and charged a fortune to change it.
    4. Didn’t check that confirmation email had been received & check it thoroughly until too late then charges to change details.

I could go on but this gives you an idea of what can happen, I’m not saying everyone does this and some people are very savvy when booking themselves & good for them if it saves them money.

Ok, so you pay a bit more booking with me or an agent but at least you have that piece of mind that if something does go wrong then the agent will sort it out and you have to make one phone call instead of numerous calls again costing you more money.

So if you book with me and your holiday includes flights, hotel, transfers, tours & cruise then this is classed as a package and we PROTECT all parts of the holiday giving you piece of mind that if something did go wrong then I will assist you to get to the next destination and sort out any issues before or after travel.

Let me give you an example as this really did happen to one of my customers on his first booking he did with me:-

Everything went well until due to bad weather the cruise ship could not dock in Shanghai as planned and had to dock in Hong Kong a day earlier, the customer had 2 nights booked in Shanghai & his return flight to the UK.  So now he is in Hong Kong and needs to get back home. He called me as I had booked everything for him and the flights and 2 nights in Hong Kong were sorted out for him with no stress or cost to the client.

He has since booked 2 more holidays with me and recommends me to his friends & family who have also booked with me.

So what would you prefer?

Take the risk or have protection??
