Day 4 of my Holiday!! A Fun Day At Sea!!

So, Day 4 was a fun time at sea. It’s the perfect opportunity to go to all of the welcome events and explore the ship some more.

For WIFI on board, I would recommend buying the Chat & Social Apps package. We first started with the 6000mb Premium Package but this did not last as long as we thought. We then upgraded through the MSC For Me app and got an unlimited Chat & Social Apps Package. This package was brilliant.

Here’s a good tip for you. We had the Bar & Restaurant/Classic Drinks Package which meant the Mini Bar was not included. However, we were able to drink from the mini bar and then replace the drinks after we had been to the bar. This is only for water and soft drinks, I wouldn’t drink the miniatures as these are priced at $6 a bottle. We did speak to our cabin steward about this and said by the end of the week we would make sure it was fully stocked. This was great, especially when you get thirsty during the night.

At 10:30am we headed to the Theatre where there was a Shopping Seminar. It was definitely worth a trip as we all got a voucher booklet for each port in which we were able to get a free gift from a variety of shops within the port. It was also very interesting to learn a little more about the ports of call. At 11:15am I headed to the Haven Lounge for the Art Auction and Raffle. I am so glad I went as I ended up winning $300 worth of Effy Jewellery. For each art event, we attended we also received a free piece of art along with a certificate of authenticity.

We decided to have dinner in the main restaurant which our one was the Seashore Restaurant. It was our first formal night which MSC called the dress code: Elegant!! We got to meet the Captain near the Champagne bar prior to having dinner. The Centrum on this ship was amazing, great music surrounded by different bars across the deck. There was also a 1920’s Gatsby party in the Haven Lounge at 10:30pm, however, we did not attend. At 8pm we headed to the theatre to watch the show ‘The Dream’. It was fantastic, the show was a variety show that showcased singing and dancing routines from musicals and included a range of international specialty acts.
