Day 3 of my holiday!! Embarking the AMAZING MSC Seaside!!

Today was the day that I had been looking forward to for over a year. It was the day I got to finally board MSC Seaside. We started our day by heading to Miami International Mall to buy a few things before heading to Miami Airport to drop off our car. We were then taken to the port and we were so excited once we saw the ship in the distance.

MSC Seaside is huge but so amazing. This ship definitely has the WOW factor. Once we were onboard we first went to our cabins to drop off our hand luggage. Whilst we were in the cabin I did a cabin tour which can be seen here on my Facebook page. We stayed in cabin 11099 which is a B2 Balcony Cabin on the Fantastica Experience. The cabin was really spacious and a great Mid-Foward location. We met our cabin steward Albert and he was absolutely fantastic. He was such a nice character and couldn’t do enough for you throughout the week, he very quickly felt like a friend which was great.

Then we were ready to explore the ship. First of all, we headed to the Marketplace Buffet to grab some lunch. It is a large buffet and there was so much to choose from, I, of course, tried so many different things on my plate. It was all delicious. After Lunch, we first headed to the spa and gym area. MSC Seaside has one of the largest gyms I have seen on a cruise ship.

Then it was time to head to the higher decks to see all the amazing outside facilities. The Jungle Pool area is on deck 17 and it is a great area, there is a lounge area, a jacuzzi, and a small pool. You can also get Gelato as part of your drinks package. To get to the Aquaadveture park from here you will need to go up a deck walk along and then back down to get to the stairs for the waterslides. I managed to try 3 slides out of the 4 available and they were a lot of fun, especially the slide that went over the side of the ship. The main pool deck was huge altogether, the pool is slightly small but it was never overcrowded. The Jacuzzis that are dotted about everywhere though are absolutely huge. Check out my video here of when I was up on the deck.

For dinner, we decided to go back to the Marketplace buffet for dinner as we wanted a relaxing evening. The choice of dishes was fantastic and even more than lunch which I thought wasn’t possible. The only bittersweet thing was that desserts on board are small little cakes and there aren’t any British favorites such as apple crumble and custard but over the week it worked out well because I ate less as I have a massive sweet tooth.

When we got back to the cabin we had a surprise delivery. Check out the video below!!
