Get Your Pom Poms Out

It’s time to shake a tail feather and jiggle your pom poms because the Ncl Getaway is going to be christened by her Godmothers – the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders.
Give me an N, Give me a C, Give me an L, give me…….. Well you get the picture.
The christening ceremony will take place on the 07thFebruary 2014 on board the Norwegian getaway, the largest ship to be homeport in Miami.  The cruise line also announced a partnership with the Miami Dolphin’s that designates Norwegian cruise lines as the official cruise line of the American football team.  The ship is designed to be the ultimate ship from Miami so the cheerleader’s will be a great fit with the ship and the brand as fun and unique.

The director of the cheerleaders Emily Snow has said “We are honored to be selected by Norwegian to be the Godmothers of their newest ship, Norwegian Getaway. Norwegian Cruise Line is a first class organization and a well-known brand in our community, making this an ideal partnership.
Ncl is an official sponsor for the team so at the home stadium ticket holders can be in with a chance of winning a cruise for four onboard the getaway. Norwegian Cruise Line is also being promoted on the stadium television network for all events at Sun Life Stadium year-round, along with permanent signage under the scoreboard. The partnership also extends onboard Norwegian Getaway, as the ship’s library will house Miami Dolphins memorabilia highlighting the team’s rich history.

The cheerleaders are a great idea and something different to the normal opera singer, royal or celeb being a godmother.  I think they should stay onboard and offer lessons to willing passengers so everyone can have a chance of shaking some poms poms and doing some high kicks……..would you join in?
