South America put it on your bucket list now!

I sailed around South America on Queen Victoria and it was an amazing voyage.

There are really so many highlights that I would really encourage anyone to get this sailing booked at least once in your lifetime. From the scenery of Cape Horn and Argentina to the Cities of Buenos Aires, Montevideo and Rio De Janeiro. The people, food and cultures are a melting pot of colours, spicy flavours and amazing dances…

Brazil is such a vast country and has Iconic places to visit like Rio De Janeiro. Copacabana beach was a picture postcard and the statue of Christ had views to die for. The food was exceptional ashore and even Chicken hearts tasted amazing. I really do Love Brazil. I would also jump at the chance to go back and visit for longer.

The other ports around South America also offered incredible culture and scenery as well as Glaciers. When you look at the map of South America there are huge distances travelled betwen the cities and yet they are very similar with the architecture, and the way life is lived.

Some of the greatest horsemen I have ever seen. In Montevideo I was really captivated by the buildings and the people were so friendly. There were also crew on the ship that were from Uruguay and it was great to see them so happy with their families for a day. Try to get outside of the cities if you have the chance as the countryside and mountains in South America are some of the most amazing in the world.

If you have great plans for a visit to South America I can help you plan your next voyage and give you my first-hand experience to help you get more out of your cruise and the ports of call. Adrian Partridge 0333 300 2480
